My first stitchery, yeah!

I posted this on my other blog but I am trying to keep my crafts on this one for better record keeping. This was my second attempt at this pattern, which I made myself. The first time I stitched it I forgot to use batting, oops. So although this is my second stitchery technically, it is my very first completed stitchery. It was so much fun to make and I look forward to making more.

Yesterday I had my friend Sandy teach me how to do stitchery. I am so in love with this craft, much better than cross stitch. The piece above is one that she made and I plan on making on very similar. Just what I need another craft, right? I hope to do some as gifts as well. My Christmas gift idea book is filling up so now I need to get more gifts done.
